UK University Chess League- 2nd Edition
"The UK University Chess League has been born out of the rapid growth in online chess over the COVID-19 restriction period and the need for easy access online competition to replace the lack of 'over the board' competition. This second edition sees over double the number of the participants than in the first edition, with 36 teams from 26 different universities. The competition opens with some friendly group stages before heating up in the knockouts with only space for one champion- who will make it to the top this time?"

"The 2020-2021 Worldwide Online Championships have kicked off! Tiger Sharks (UK) are the current holders, having won the previous season with a stunning 90% win record. They'll be up against a record 126 teams made up of clubs, national teams, schools and universities.
